Squirming in the Pew

Heard during yesterday's sermon:
Too often we are merely auditing Christianity. Buy the books. Register for the course. Take it for a grade.
And yes, the pastor knows that I have been considering taking that New Testament course at the seminary extension.

    By-the-way -- I assume you live in the Houston area. My parents go to St. Giles(?) Presbyterian Church.

    Yes I live in the Houston area and know St. Giles church. I'm at Southminster PC in the Missouri City/Sugar Land area--southwest Houston suburbs.
