Giant Rabbit Fu-Fu
You know that I had warned you.
Gretel may be aged, but
She hasn't lost her snap.
Gretel found your warren
In the neighbor's front yard.
Brought a bunny to El Jefe
And put it in his lap.
Darnit, Rabbit Fu-Fu,
Hopping to the suburbs
Will not protect bunnies
From dogs waking from a nap.
Sorry, Giant Rabbit.
Gretel's still a hunteress.
She's bred to catch the rabbits
She's cunning as a trap.
Late Afternoon Update: Gretel 2 Bunnies 0
Early Evening Update: Make that Gretel 3 Bunnies 0
Uhm. How many bunnies can Giant Rabbit have? Jeez.
Gretel the Mighty Huntress!
ReplyDeleteI loved this....poor El Jefe!
Gretel sent me the following e-mail:
ReplyDeleteTastes like chicken.
Rev Dave - you are a hoot! I swear, dude, you gotta blog.
ReplyDeleteGretle is looking good! Doofus Archie, the boy-cat, likes to "Bring 'Em Back Alive". He tends to haul the bunnies through the cat door in the middle of the night, so he can chase them all over the house. Joy. Rapture.
Think how much you're saving on dog food by letting her forage for herself!
ReplyDeleteAww, poor bunnies. I can just see Gretel panting in anticipation. Our dachshund-beagle is under the impression that she, too, is a mighty hunter. For her it's still a complete illusion, though.
ReplyDeleteGood dog. She is an inspiration to Senior Citizens everywhere . . .
ReplyDeleteWell, QG, to answer your question, the problem with rabbits is that they breed, well, like rabbits.
ReplyDeleteWell, I came to check on today's tally. Is Gretel full?
ReplyDeleteAwww... :-( Well, you did warn Mama Fufu.
ReplyDeleteNow there's a dachsie with moxie!
