Too bad they don't come in adult sizes. I could have worn them at the next GAC meeting. That can be pretty scary place too. (It sometimes gives me nightmares.)
Yeah some will find these tacky and I don't see myself buying them for my kids. But for some reason I find myself having little patience for folks who think these are somehow appalling for kids to wear. Hey, at least it's one opportunity for them to actually think about God rather than wishing they could shoot spiderwebs from their wrists. Who knows it may even cause them to ask their parents about the faith. [Joshua 4:6]
dang, no adult size . . .
ReplyDeleteI saw those on Purgatorio's website. I would be careful letting my child outdoors in those expecially the boys if his "helmet" falls over his face.
ReplyDelete~stunned silence~
ReplyDeleteWell I already left my comment over there. Appalling, distasteful. . . .
ReplyDeleteWhat!! No chastity belt?
ReplyDeleteLawd, laed, lawd.
ReplyDeletesomebody, can't remember who put a comment in the Tuesday Lectionary leanings at rgbp. They are something.

ReplyDelete....ish. Then again, as Michael pointed out, they might be useful in adult sizes for some scary meetings.
ReplyDeleteGotta be a better way to share the Good News with the kiddos.
