What a cute picture! While I was at a very small wedding this afternoon, it poured and poured. When we left, I had to take off my shoes to walk through 3-inch pools of water to my car. The forecast was only 10% chance of rain today--must be living in that 10% area!
I was on my way out of your fair city when one of those "gully-washers" came down! Heard there might have been a small tornado that touched down in Deer Park. We've been having a lot of rain this summer too.
Wow, I did not know that. Here it is incredibly dry -- the grass is rapidly turning completely brown. We were at a graveside service funeral yesterday so had a view of acres and acres of parched land.

ReplyDeleteI certainly wish some of that rain would head this way!! Especially as I look out at the hills surrounding us covered with brush drier than kindling.

ReplyDeleteCould we be experiencing a little of this today? The ground is wet and there is noise from the sky.
ReplyDeleteDitto what Presby Gal said! I've almost forgotten what rain looks like.
