The Many Hats of the Mom-derator

It's been a busy few weeks down at presbytery. In order to keep up with all the action, I've found myself looking for these hats in my closet:
  • Head-Hunter
  • Reporter/Editor
  • Attorney
  • Real Estate Developer
  • Editor
  • PowerPoint Expert
  • FinanceWoman
  • Cheerleader
What's my real job down there? Oh, yeah. Mom-derator 2008. Who knew?

  1. Do you really wear these hats?

I can only pull off a baseball cap or safari hat for sun protection at amusement parks.

Your closet reminds me of my Barbie fashion store play set!!! Except your hats are prettier.

  2. Is that really your closet?? I'd be afraid of taking a picture of mine, sadly. Beautiful hats--do you wear them often?

    Rain, rain here today.

  4. It's not a picture of my closet! It's just a picture I found to illustrate the post.

The only hat I have is a big straw sunhat/visor. Actually I have a hard time buying hats because my head is too big. Write you own joke about that!

  5. No worries! I bet you rock at your job.

(I'm really glad that wasn't YOUR closet. Some of those hats...)

  6. I'm thinking the hats would go well with the shoes below and you could be a waterlogged Texan at Ascot.

  8. Even if they're not yours, I still think they're pretty. Especially the purple one!

I have the same problem with hats. My favorite is a man's large black cowboy hat someone gave me. The ladies hats just sit on top of my head and look really silly. I publicly attribute it to abnormally large brain mass. Privately I suspect it's the 3 inch thick skull.
