I agree, beautiful, but where are the bluebonnets? We were in Houston yesterday and I looked for bluebonnets but did not see any? Is it too late, or did the cold weather get them?
To quote de Chardin: "By means of all created things, without exception, the divine assails us, penetrates us and moulds us. We imagined it as distant and inaccessible, whereas in fact we live steeped in its burning layers."
I saw this photo and thought "there are those burning layers"!

Absolutely beautiful. And I am sure the picture doesn't do it any justice.

Annie--
It's too late for bluebonnets now, alas! They only bloom from (more or less)mid-March to mid-April.
Just incredible.
What a beautifully harmonious and glorious hymn!
Amazing!
And here the leaves are just starting to come out on the trees.
Deep in the heart of Texas *clapclapclapclap*
BEAUTIFUL!
Good God!
Great photograph for Pentecost _ I can see the fire of the Holy Spirit spreading all over creation here!
