Further down the Mount of Olives we arrived at the Church of All Nations, which is set next to the Garden of Gethsemane. We went inside where an English-speaking group was led in worship on Ascension Day by a Catholic priest.
The Garden of Gethsemane is a little oasis in the midst of this modern city, looking much like an olive grove.
This was one of my favorite spots in Israel. It seemed to me like one of the "thin places" in the world.
