QG is 5 Today!

For some reason I was browsing through some of my posts from a couple of years ago when it dawned on me: today is QG's Fifth Blogversary!

It's hard to believe I've been blogging for five years. When I first started blogging I wasn't sure if I would keep it up or not.

But I did, and met many wonderful friends along the way as we have shared laughter and tears, faith and doubt, good books and bad, good weather and hurricanes through the magic of the internet.

Facebook and Twitter have become more popular than blogging for many in the last couple of years. But I still love this medium because it encourages thoughtful composition and the interchange of ideas between the writer and the reader.

I'm so grateful for the friendship and encouragement of my Gentle Readers. May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with each one of you!

Four Years of QG

QG is FOUR years old today! It's hard to believe I've been blogging that long. I was inspired to begin a faith-based blog after hearing Leonard Sweet talk about the uses of technology in ministry at an Association of Presbyterian Educators Conference.

Many thanks to those of you who comment, lurk and encourage me! You are all such a blessing.

Palm Sunday Third Blogversary

My azaleas and other spring flowers in the front yard are blooming their little hearts out on this gorgeous Palm Sunday in Sugar Land.

Today is also the third anniversary for Quotidian Grace, the blog. What a blessing this has been. Thanks be to God for the "nudge" that started me blogging, and thanks to all the wonderful Gentle Readers and Presbybloggers who've stopped by here to comment and encourage me in this venture.

QG is Two

Today is the second blogversary of Quotidian Grace.

It's been a really eventful year, too. Portia and DK got married; RevGalBlogPals INC. was organized; the PCUSA General Assembly proved to be a boon for Presbybloggers; I was nominated Mom of Presbytery for 2008 just in time for the Million Dollar Problem; the QG family mourned the passing of Gretel The Noble Dog; and we changed churches.

Whew! I'm ready for a little less excitement in the coming year!

Through it all I've been so blessed by QG's faithful readers and commenters. I'd love to give every one of you a shout-out, but I'd surely overlook someone. Two years ago I could not have imagined how my life has been enriched by all of you. Thank you for your encouragement and support.
