St. Cassarole wrote a courageous and heart-felt post this week about the threat of schism in the PCUSA. Check it out as well as the thread of comments the post generated which reveal weariness and concern from liberals and conservatives alike.
As a side note, common ground may not be able to be found, but civil and thoughtful discussion is essential. The author of the post does well to point out that both "sides" in this debate have things they are lacking. (That does not mean there isn't a right (or Biblcial) answer -- just that neither "side" is blameless.)
