Quotidian means commonplace or everyday. "For by grace you are saved." Ephesians 2:5
Yummy. At least God was willing to work with Ezekiel on one of the issues related to the baking of this bread.....
In the NT, I know Jesus grills fish...a method of cooking fish that we really like...flavorful and healthy. We cook w/olive oil and eat dates.Roast lamb is a favorite at Easter, too.How else do others here eat and cook 'Bibically'.Sounds like an interesting book, QG!
ooohhhh!! ooohhhhh! ME! ME! *raises her hand and waves it around*
Any good locust and honey recipes? How about fatted calf ala Prodigal?
Well there is a recipe for stewed oxmeat, does that count? The recipe for manna sounds just as nasty as the real thing probably was.
Can there be a segment on "Church Pot Luck Recipes"? That should count. Don't wanna be Rachel Ray (too overexposed) or Paula Deen (no one can top her). I'll go for the next Giada DeLaurentis though!!
They should have asked Alton Brown to help! (He can make history taste really good!)
Ewwww! I'm so sorry I looked up that Ezekiel thing. I have a friend (a priest) who does First Century meals, wonderful food and teaching on customs of eating at the time. I want to play! I grew up on mjeddrah - Esau's "mess of pottage." Yum!
Ezekiel Bread ... Okay, that's a "yuck."
