Moving Update

Here's a quick look at our new place. We have worked through a lot of boxes--with the help of my wonderful SIL, Portia and DK.

Muchas, muchas gracias!

Today I'm still unpacking and working with getting things set up.

Crisis: There's not enough room in the master closet for my shoes! Calling for a closet organizer now...

We love all the outdoor living spaces and the brick and stonework.

A plumber damaged the phone and satellite feeds so now I'm waiting on repairmen. One step forward, one step back!

Beatrice is anxious and wonders when she is going "home". She does like all the grass in the back yard, but misses chasing the pool dragon.

Oh, Beatrice! Hang in there. Sam says he is learning a new church and you can learn a new house. He has confidence in you.

That is one GORGEOUS house!!! Many blessings to you and EL Jefe for a joy-filled life there.

As to the shoes, you could always call Cheesehead.....But then she would probably organize them into her own closet.

When we had our house built way back in 1998, the master closet was designed with this wall in the middle to separate the walk-in into a his and hers area.

We told the builder to leave out the wall, as well as the hanging rods and shelf, just give us the four walls.

We had a 'California Closets' type of company come in, and they created an area that actually had twice the hanging and storage than the original design.

Well worth the money!!

RC,
Taking your advice--which we also got from our daughter Portia. The closet is large enough that someone who knows how to organize it (and that would not be me) can make it work well.

If you are having closet space issues you should check out www.closetconveyor.com. This unit is unique in that it brings your garments and shoes to you at the push of a button, just like the dry cleaner. It is easily installed and gives you extra space.

I'm jealous. Of course, I would never actually use the outdoor kitchen, but is that space for an outdoor spa I see?
