Return of the Rabbit

Rabbit Redux

Giant Rabbit Fu-Fu
Hopping through the suburbs
Has no fear of QG
And wants her picture snapped.

The very same Mama Fu-Fu
That lost her little bunnies
Last year to Huntress Gretel
Who ate them for a snack.

Now Gretel's in Doggie Heaven
So Giant Rabbit Fu-Fu
Is at home in QG's backyard
And takes herself a nap.

Sometimes we find the rabbit
Hopping around the garage
Or sitting at our back door
As tame as she can be.

Giant Rabbit Fu-Fu
Knows she's got a good deal
Living in the suburbs
No fear of us has she.

QG found her little warren
Underneath a palm tree
Looks like Rabbit Fu-Fu
Moved in permanently.

She is adorable...I have to give her that!

And you are such a composer!

OK, that rabbit is HUGE. I can see why "intimidation" is not in her vocabulary.

Hoping this is live Giant Rabbit Fu-Fu and not ghostly Rabbit Fu-Fu come to treat you to nightly awakening sounds of hippity hoppity chain clanking! Gifts of carrots and lettuce perhaps are in order?

(Great rewriting of classic!!)

I hope she has a nice litter this year (Is that the word for rabbits? I know rabbits "kindle" when they give birth, but I think they have a litter) and that there are not too many roaming cats and dogs around the neighborhood. But she looks like she could give cats and small dogs a run for their money.

aaw, how sweet! I wish there was a rabbit in my backyard. Except I don't really have a yard, there's a lawn we all share. Anyway....I wish there were rabbits there.

great looking bunny!

wish we had rabbits here but have possums, racoons, a red fox and dogs instead

I hope she lives a long bunny life in your back yard.

We have suburban rabbits in our yard. We believe they moved back in after our development was built on the horse farm where they previously lived.

Our cats are indoor, so the worst risk the outdoor rabbits have is the lawnmower (I accidentally ran over a baby bunny one year).

You crack me up.

Big news here: my son is going to UTexas. Thought of you, my Texas blogging friend, when we heard.

I hope your son enjoys UT. We're a big UT family! Austin is a great place to go to college. Best wishes to our newest Longhorn. Hook 'em!
