St. Betty just called to report that all is relatively quiet at our local precinct. It seems that 58% of the registered voters in the precinct voted early! So although there is a steady stream of folks coming in, there are plenty of machines and no waiting.Evidently we ALL heart early voting.
Our precinct (and our county) normally vote strongly Republican. We'll see if the high turnout signals a change in that pattern--or not.

Here in the Little Blue State, all was calm today. We have the sanest election officials on the planet and it's unbelievably organized. Of course there aren't very may of us :)
