The lecture that I gave last week at BSD is now available as a podcast on your computer or as an MP3 download on the MDPC website for those of you who were kind enough to say you wished you could hear it.
If you go to this link you can access the audio files. The link takes you to the Media Archives page on the church website. Go to BSD Lectures 2008-2009 and click on "show Details". This takes you to the page with all the lectures. Scroll down to the January 22 lecture and you'll see the link to listen, download the MP3 file and/or the pdf of the powerpoint notes.
Whew! That's a lot of work. I thought about just posting it here as a podcast, but since it was recorded by the church wasn't sure that fit the "terms of service" of the church website.

QG, it says the speaker is Martha Moore. Is it really you?
Oh...I'm listening and you do say you're not Martha, so you must be you. You sound like you're from Texas!
Superb presentation.
I was quite taken with the idea that it takes 10,000 hours to develop an expertise in something. Makes sense and I think I'll blog about it.
GG--
Martha Moore is the regular lecturer and they had the archives all set up for the year. They just haven't changed the name on that lecture.
Do I really sound that Texan??? I thought I didn't have that much of an accent--but then again, that is just compared to East Texas Dad and West Texas in-laws.
Well, believe me, you do not sound like an Ohioan!
Great job, BTW. I can't imagine what you were nervous about.
East Texas, West Texas, who knows? I could here the steel of the Texas wife and mother, rifle in hand, fending off those Commanches while baking biscuits for the church social and schooling the young ones on their memory verses!
Yee-Haw!
