Apparently Elizabeth Gilbert (author of Eat, Love, Pray) has written a new book, Committed. My first thought was that this would go on my No Read list. Then I thought, why not let my Gentle Readers decide?

Oh! I am finally in the majority on SOMETHING!
Since I hated her first book, I would love someone else to read this one and tell me why I needn't give it a second thought. :)
i read an article about the new book in Oprah and was sorry I spent the time on it. I found the first book a huge disappointment also.
Regardless of the first book, the description of the second was enough to turn me off. I have a low threshold for self-absorbsion, which this sounds to be in spades.
