Its funny ... when attending a previous church, the 40 Days of Purpose was one of the things tried to make more disciples.

Those of us who saw the faddishness and the 'make the verse fit' of the thing called it the 40 Days of Porpoise. We were thinking of wearing porpoise pins, but decided to just avoid the whole mess.

BTW ... it didn't work. Primarily because it was 'bought into' by manyh on Session or in the church.

Unlike some, I actually saw a lot of value in "The Purpose Driven Life"--but that doesn't stop me from calling a fad a fad nor stop me from howling out loud at this video!
